If you need a visa to attend the conference in person, we will send you a letter of invitation once we have received your payment. Please be sure to request a letter and apply for a VISA on time. Failure to acquire a VISA in time to travel is unfortunately not a valid reason for a refund of your registration fee.

Please note that the criteria for the reduced fee are as follows:

- full-time students and PhD students enrolled in a college or university with an income or stipend that doesn’t exceed 1757e gross e per month

- trainees and interns with an income or stipend that doesn’t exceed 1.757e gross e per month

- Individuals that come from, reside and work in an LMIC country as considered by the World Bank classification.

*Note that part-time students, post-doctoral and PhD candidates with an income or stipend that exceeds 1.757e gross e per month, and others that cannot meet the above requirements are NOT eligible for the discounted student rate.

The organising committee will review the documents of each participant to verify that the requirements are met. In case you do not meet the requirements, we will contact you to pay the full fee.

Please ensure that you select the correct reduced fee during registration to avoid any issues. If the incorrect fee is selected, you may be charged the remaining amount, plus an administrative fee. Please note that failure to comply with the fee guidelines may result in a penalty fee in addition to the registration fee.
